Information we collect
We collect account details such as your name and email, plant information that you choose to store, and technical data like device type and usage analytics. When you enable push notifications we store the device token so we can deliver timely reminders.
How we use information
Your data powers the features you rely on—plant schedules, growth timelines, personalised insights, and optional communications. We never sell your data, and we only share information with processors that help us operate the app (for example, Supabase for hosting and email delivery providers for notifications).
Your choices
You can export or delete your account data by contacting support at privacy@plantdiaryapp.com. Disabling notifications or closing your account will remove associated tokens and content from our systems after a short retention period required for reliability and auditing.
Security
Plant Diary uses Supabase authentication, row-level security, and encrypted storage to protect your data. We review access controls regularly and run security patches for our infrastructure. If we ever encounter a breach we will notify affected users and relevant regulators promptly.
